Become a Member

One of the most basic human needs is the need to belong. We all want to feel like we are part of something beyond ourselves. Becoming a member of the church has the ability to meet that need. When we join the church, we don't join an exclusive club. Rather, we join our lives to others in the inclusive embrace of God in Jesus Christ.

So becoming a member of the church means living into God’s vision that we are made to live and work together, like a body. The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians, “We are all members, one of another.” As members of the church, we support one another. We encourage one another. We pray for one another. And we serve side-by-side for the sake of making Christ’s love and grace known in the world. When we live into the fullness of church membership, we experience the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives, shaping our lives into something it could not otherwise be.
