Life and Growth Committee

Vision The Life and Growth Committee is responsible for enriching the spiritual life and growth of all members of the congregation with special attention given to all new members. The committee shall engage in a ministry of outreach to new residents of Rochester and to any other prospective members. It is our intention to welcome all visitors to our Christian fellowship. The committee shall provide leadership and support to members of the congregation who are actively engaged in the ministry of visiting the homebound.

Opportunities to Participate

Friends in Christ: Our committee provides Friends in Christ (sponsors) for new members and hosts a social orientation event giving new members and their sponsors an opportunity to get acquainted. This event includes a meal, an opportunity to meet the Zumbro staff, a brief overview of the mission and ministry of Zumbro, and a tour of our facility.

Dinner Groups: Dinner groups foster Christian fellowship and provide a way for both new and long-standing members to get together on a rotating monthly basis for an informal dinner.
