Keeping the Sabbath Wholly Small Groups Keeping the Sabbath may seem like an impossible spiritual discipline to practice in our 24/7 society. Yet, it is God’s gift to us. Sabbath is intended to make our lives fuller, richer, and more whole. Groups will dig into the Old Testament wisdom book of Ecclesiastes, deepen friendships, pray together, and serve in the community. This will be a great way to stretch and grow in your faith.

Get the Lenten Daily Devotion To help guide our Lenten journey, Zumbro members have written brief devotionals on passages from Ecclesiastes. If you wish to receive a little food for thought every morning sign up to receive the daily devotions via e-mail. (Beginning February 22)

Journey Of Peace Interfaith EventsPeople from five different world religions in Rochester are inviting the community to ask questions and get to know people from other religions. Their hope is to build knowledge, understanding, and friendships across faith traditions that have historically been at odds with each other at times. Zumbro will be hosting this free event focusing on Christianity on Sunday, March 11, from 2-4pm. For more information, contact Pastor Jason at 288-2649.

Represent Zumbro at the Good Earth Village Annual Meeting The Good Earth Village annual meeting is Sunday, February 28, at St. John’s Lutheran in Kasson. If you would like to represent Zumbro at the annual meeting, please sign up, and someone will be in touch with you.
