If you want to walk on water ...
Have you ever wondered what life would be like if God was really in control? Maybe easier, maybe less stressful ... maybe a little more risky. All it took to turn Peter's life upside down was seeing Jesus walking on the water. Peter wanted to do it too; Jesus told him, 'come on.' Peter wanted to trust Jesus ... but to do that he had to get out of the boat.
During the season of Lent 2011 we focused on stepping out in faith and finding ways to trust that God is leading us. Using John Ortberg's book If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat, we reflected on those opportunities God is putting before us that -- if we're brave enough to give them a shot -- just might change our lives.
