Care Ministers
A Care Minister reaches out with compassion and shares the hope of Jesus with those who may be homebound or in care facilities. Zumbro is blessed with an active and deeply compassionate group of Care Ministers who provide essential support to members in times of need. Whether it’s bringing communion, praying with someone, or simply offering a listening ear and kind conversation, your presence makes a meaningful impact. Care Ministers meet on the 3rd Monday of each month at 11am in the Kairos Room--in-person and via Zoom. Each meeting will include time for fellowship, sharing updates on our Care Ministry efforts, helpful resources, and lifting up those in need through prayer.

Hand knitted prayer shawls are provided for those who have suffered recent loss, hospitalization, or crisis. These are distributed by the staff, care ministers, and members of the congregation.Â
